My design reflects the 2026 Veterans Day theme by centering on unity, sacrifice, and the enduring bond between those who have served. The composition features two silhouetted figures—one veteran helping another ascend—symbolizing service beyond the battlefield and the lifelong commitment veterans have to one another and their families. I intentionally approached the poster with a stylized vintage aesthetic, drawing inspiration from mid-20th century American propaganda and commemorative posters. The bold silhouettes, limited patriotic color palette, radiating stripes, and distressed textures evoke a sense of history and legacy. This retro visual language reinforces the timelessness of service and connects today’s veterans with generations past.
This project explores expressive illustration and promotional design through a series of vibrant, character-driven visuals. The objective was to create engaging artwork that balances playful energy with strong visual hierarchy and brand-ready execution.
The assignment was to explore how graphic elements can communicate mood, personality, and narrative across different themes and formats. While the project wasn’t client-driven, the goal was to treat each piece as if it were for a real audience — paying attention to visual impact, message clarity, and design cohesion. This meant approaching each design as a creative challenge: deciding which elements would support the mood, how color and composition could communicate tone, and how typography could work together with imagery to support a unified message.
This magazine layout project explores the intersection of domestic identity, consumer culture, and modern femininity through a stylized editorial spread. The concept reimagines traditional “housewife” imagery within a bold, contemporary design framework, blending satire, fashion aesthetics, and product placement into a cohesive publication layout.
